Job Description
Statera Talent are partnered with a well back and growing RegTech firm building AI products specifically for compliance teams within financial services. They are looking to hire a senior individual from a compliance consulting background to play a key role in how their product is taken to market.
This is not a traditional sales role and it is not suited to someone who comes from a pure SaaS sales. The focus is on SME knowledge, judgement, and the ability to have technical conversations with senior compliance stakeholders about how AI can genuinely be applied in regulated environments.
What this role looks like in practice
You will be working closely with the founder to shape how the firm engages with large financial institutions in the UK. That includes leading consultative discussions with Heads of Compliance and Risk, understanding how these organisations buy and implement change, and guiding them through long, considered decision-making processes.
You will be involved across the full commercial lifecycle, from early conversations through to close, but the emphasis is on trust, advisory input, and long-term relationships rather than volume-driven selling.
Background that fits well
Extensive senior experience in compliance consulting within financial services
Strong understanding of regulatory and non-financial risk environments
Comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level
