Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum + performance‑based bonus

Role Summary

We are seeking an exceptional sales leader to architect, launch, and lead our entire telephony sales department for pre‑paid funeral plan products. This role offers the chance to make a profound commercial and compassionate impact on families.

Your Role in Our Story

You will oversee financial strategy, investment oversight, risk management, and regulatory compliance for Dignity’s Funeral Plan Trusts. Your leadership will protect and grow our trust‑based operations while upholding transparency and accountability.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build a best‑in‑class telephony sales function for pre‑paid funeral plans; set the vision, strategy, and operational blueprint.
  • Recruit, coach, and inspire a high‑performing team of inbound and outbound sales professionals.
  • Deliver ambitious sales targets, optimise conversion rates, and ensure every customer interaction meets the highest standards of care and compliance.
  • Champion a customer‑centric approach, maintaining outstanding satisfaction scores (CSAT, NPS) and upholding FCA and FPCOB regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Compliance to integrate sales processes and generate robust reporting.
  • Leverage sales technology, CRM, and analytics tools to drive efficiency, transparency, and results.

Qualifications

  • Senior leadership experience in call‑centre or telesales environments, ideally managing 30‑50 FTE.
  • Proven track record in delivering or exceeding multi‑million‑pound revenue targets through telephony‑based sales.
  • Deep understanding of call‑centre metrics, performance management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Inspirational leadership style with a passion for developing people and building high‑performance cultures.
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a passionate drive for results.
  • Commitment to ethical sales practices and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
