Interim Director of Product (AI Orchestration Platform)

Contract: 6 Months | Location: Flexible | Rate: Competitive

The Role

Lead the build of an AI-driven orchestration platform, turning early concepts into a working MVP within 90 days and laying the foundation for a scalable, product-led business.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver a workflow/orchestration platform (iPaaS / AI workflows / LLM integrations)
  • Define and launch a clear MVP with measurable ROI
  • Manage data flow across multiple systems/tools (composable architecture)
  • Embed security, data privacy, and IP protection from day one
  • Drive adoption across a 4,000+ specialist workforce
  • Support shift from T&M → value-based / product-led model

What We Need (Non-Negotiable)

  • Built/scaled orchestration, middleware, or iPaaS platforms
  • Strong experience with AI workflows / APIs / LLM integrations
  • Proven track record of delivering MVPs at pace
  • Experience in enterprise, security-sensitive environments
  • Commercial mindset – understands ROI, efficiency, value-based delivery

Nice to Have

  • Media / gaming / creative industry exposure
  • Experience in productising services into platform/SaaS models
