About Cleo At Cleo, we’re not just building another fintech app. We’re embarking on a mission to fundamentally change humanity’s relationship with money. Imagine a world where everyone, regardless of background or income, has access to a hyper‑intelligent financial advisor in their pocket. That’s the future we’re creating. About the Company Cleo is a profitable, fast‑growing unicorn with over $300 million in ARR and over doubling year‑over‑year. We’re a team of brilliant, driven individuals who are passionate about making a real difference, operating at a high bar for talent and a culture of collaboration and positive impact. About the Role We’re hiring a Director of Product Growth to own and scale Cleo’s users and revenue metrics. This leadership role has full accountability for subscriber revenue and unit economics. You will own the subscriber P&L and drive growth across the entire lifecycle – acquisition, conversion, monetisation and retention. You will work closely with Growth Marketing, Commercial, Strategic Finance and Product teams to balance speed with sustainability. Key Responsibilities
Subscriber P&L ownership – full accountability for subscriber revenue, contribution margin and LTV. Optimising pricing, packaging, paywalls and monetisation strategy. Improving conversion and long‑term retention performance. Balancing growth velocity with capital efficiency. Growth strategy & lifecycle optimisation – build and evolve Cleo’s end‑to‑end growth strategy to hit ambitious targets. Translate ARR and LTV/CAC targets into clear product priorities. Partner with Commercial and Growth Marketing to align acquisition and downstream monetisation. Drive holistic, reproducible lifecycle thinking – not siloed optimisation or one‑off tactics that can’t scale. Organisational leadership – directly manage leaders and product managers within the Growth Pillar: Head of Pricing & Packaging, Product Design Manager, Product Managers. Design and evolve the team structure for scale and raise performance standards across the pillar. Drive focus, clarity and accountability; make disciplined investment and headcount decisions. Execution & velocity – strengthen experimentation and decision‑making frameworks; increase shipping speed and execution intensity. Remove blockers and drive momentum across teams; ensure product decisions are commercially grounded.
What We’re Looking For
Several years of experience in product or growth roles in a fast‑growing company; background in product, analytics or highly analytical roles. Strong commercial and analytical acumen, deep understanding of subscription economics, LTV/CAC and growth loops/models; ability to build a financial and opportunity sizing model independently. Proven product leadership experience owning roadmaps and driving experiments that materially moved revenue or retention. Experience leading and building high‑performing teams. Track record of driving revenue growth, preferably in a subscription or recurring revenue business. Strong cross‑functional operator, able to align product, engineering, marketing and commercial teams around shared economic outcomes. High standards and execution intensity – move fast, raise the bar and push for excellence. Resilient and ownership‑driven, comfortable operating under ambitious targets with full accountability. Growth design or UX depth – expert on UX best practices with strong track record of utilising these in successful experiments. Exposure to and understanding of ML‑powered products – know when ML can drive growth or have experience applying ML to drive personalisation and uplift/incrementality. SQL skills – write queries to unblock yourself.
