The Opportunity
The Marketing Director will be responsible for designing and delivering a best-in-class marketing strategy across a portfolio of businesses. This role goes beyond traditional brand marketing, with a strong emphasis on driving revenue, generating demand, and feeding the sales pipeline.
You will play a critical role in shaping the marketing function from the ground up - building structure, processes, and high-performing teams to support ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a high-impact, commercially focused marketing strategy across multiple business units
Ensure all marketing activity is aligned to lead generation and revenue growth objectives
Build, structure, and scale marketing functions within each operating business
Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing marketing teams
Collaborate cross-functionally to embed a sales-first mindset across the organisation
Implement effective processes, systems, and performance metrics to optimise marketing output
Experience Required
Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within a commercial, end-user environment
Demonstrated success in driving lead generation and supporting sales growth
Experience marketing services at a strategic level
A track record of building or transforming marketing functions in high-growth or entrepreneurial businesses
Candidate Profile
Highly driven, ambitious, and motivated by financial success and career progression
Able to operate at pace, prioritise effectively, and deliver results in a demanding environment
Commercially focused, with a clear understanding of marketing’s role in revenue generation
Self-starter with strong leadership capability and the ability to build teams from the ground up
