Salary: £180-220k + significant package
Location: Central London (hybrid)
Invenire Group is excited to be partnering a global FinTech business to appoint a Director of Group Reporting.
Working for a genuine market leader in this newly created role, the Director of Group Reporting will take ownership for all aspects of internal and external financial reporting, the design and execution of a robust reporting strategy, and leading a team of circa 10 talented professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA qualified from a top practice with significant post‑qualification experience which includes extensive US GAAP and SEC reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Create and implement effective financial reporting strategy – ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SEC regulations
Act as a strategic business partner to the Executive Leadership Team – providing crucial insight on trends, risks and reporting strategies
Oversee financial reporting, both internal and external
Oversee group consolidation process across multiple entities and currencies
Lead and develop an ambitious team of 10
Act as primary POC for internal and external auditors
Support and challenge complex accounting judgements by wider finance teams – ensuring alignment in external financial reporting
Key Requirements
ACA (or equivalent) qualified
Top practice trained – ideally Big 4
Significant post‑qualification experience gained in industry (sector agnostic)
Extensive US GAAP and SEC reporting experience
Drive and gravitas – you need to be able to influence at Board level
