Director of Construction – UK Landmark Properties – London
Landmark Properties, the leading US developer of Student Housing, has arrived in the UK. With $15bn AUM and 75,000 beds under management, Landmark is setting out to replicate its success by delivering high-quality living-led schemes across the UK and Europe.
We are seeking a Director of Construction to spearhead their UK delivery platform. This is Landmark’s first senior construction hire in London, a rare opportunity to shape the business from the ground up.
The Role Lead delivery of complex, large-scale residential developments (PBSA, BTR, Co-Living). Oversee projects from early design stages through to completion. Build and lead the UK construction function, establishing best practice, systems, and contractor relationships. Collaborate with investment and development teams to assess pipeline and advise on buildability, cost, and risk. Represent Landmark as a senior figure with contractors, consultants, and partners.
What We’re Looking For 12+ years’ experience delivering major residential led projects (PBSA/BTR/Hotels). Director level operator, with a proven track record of projects £100m+. Contractor background with strong technical, commercial, and risk management skills. Collaborative leadership style: able to build trusted relationships across the supply chain. A self-starter: entrepreneurial, proactive, and motivated to grow a UK platform.
