Position Overview Zero100 is seeking a full‑time Director, Event Content to own the event strategy, editorial programming, and narrative development for our in‑person and virtual event portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of research, storytelling, and executive engagement—translating the most pressing questions facing COOs, CSCOs, and their leadership teams into high‑impact event agendas, breakthrough storylines, and world‑class learning experiences. As the architect of Zero100’s event‑based content, you will partner closely with our Research, Customer Engagement, Community, and Events Production teams to design end‑to‑end programming that reflects the future of the operations and supply chain profession. Responsibilities
Own the content strategy and full editorial architecture for Zero100’s in‑person and virtual events, from intimate 5‑7 person roundtables to multi‑day flagship experiences Develop annual event themes, storylines, and programming frameworks aligned with the evolving needs of COOs, CSCOs, and senior operations leaders Lead agenda creation—including sessions, formats, speaker flow, and connective narrative tissue—anchored in Zero100’s research roadmap and customer priorities Partner with Research and Customer Engagement teams to surface the top questions, challenges, and innovation priorities shaping the future of supply chain leadership Craft rigorous speaker briefings, content outlines, and narrative guidance to ensure alignment with event themes and audience expectations Serve as the written communications lead for all events under your ownership, drafting keynote storylines, session descriptions, scripts, moderator guides, and internal/external messaging Analyze feedback, performance metrics, and attendee satisfaction data to refine programming quality and event editorial strategy
Requirements
10+ years of experience in editorial strategy, content development, event programming, or executive communications—ideally in a business, research, media, or advisory environment Proven ability to translate complex operational, technological, and strategic concepts into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership audiences Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio demonstrating high‑quality narrative craftsmanship Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to drive multiple programming workstreams on tight deadlines Experience designing content for both in‑person and virtual executive events Deep curiosity about the future of supply chain, operations, and technology‑enabled business transformation Ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute strategically to Zero100’s broader events and content vision
