Job Description

Location: West London - This hybrid role, 3 days a week in the office. \n Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 car allowance and benefits package. \n Summary: Director, Demand & Market Distribution Planning - EMEA.\n This is a significant retail and wholesale distribution operation, with a large international network of stores and a multi-channel fulfilment capability.

The company is profitable, successful and operates within a stable & growing sector. A background in supply and demand planning is critical. Specific industry experience less so, but it would be useful to have worked in FMCG/Toy/Fashion-oriented industry.

You will be able to show concrete examples of change & transformation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nYou will lead an established team and take the business through a period of transformation as it invests heavily into new technology to support the supply chain function.\nYou will manage a team of supply and demand planners, via a management structure, as well as cross-functional project teams.\nIn addition to day-to-day leadership of the team, you will take the lead on business transformation projects and champion continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain.\nLeads with confidence, influencing senior stakeholders and commercial leadership teams to deliver impactful business outcomes.\nTakes ownership of complex commercial operations, resolving issues swiftly and ensuring seamless planning delivery.\n Key Skills/Experience:\n\nExperienced in international matrix environments.\nIndustry knowledge & application of relevant forecasting models, or FMCG/Toy/Fashion-oriented industry .\nExperienced in shaping demand, taking into account economic indicators and market trends that can impact forecasting accuracy.\nApplies advanced techniques such as demand sensing and neural networks to enhance forecast accuracy and can adapt to market volatility.\nThrives in international matrix environments, collaborating across regions, functions, and cultures to align strategies and drive unified results.Processing Your Data \n\nBis Henderson Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment, interim management and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.
