We embrace all types of diversity.The Role :We are seeking a strategic and client-focused professional to assess business needs, manage insurer relationships, structure and price bespoke insurance solutions, and drive placement strategies across Insurance markets, while ensuring compliance with internal standards and maintaining expert use of broking systems.A percentage of the role will involve broking Social Housing risks (Housing Associations). This will involve all aspects of their cover requirements. You will liaise with the Social Housing team and work with them on broking costed tender submissions.The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of insurance markets, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to deliver tailored client solutions in a fast-paced, global environment. As part of the team, you will:Understand a client or prospect’s business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issuesManage relationships and negotiate placements with the insurance marketWork with Account Executives and Sales Team in determining appropriate solutions and structuring and pricing the dealIdentify appropriate markets and determine placing strategyCreate and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international marketsSome experience in pricing and designing conceptual programmesEnsure ongoing compliance with Willis Towers Watson guidelines and procedures.Ensure good relationships and communication with other Willis Towers Watson associatesA thorough understanding and an expert real time user for all relevant systems including Broking PlatformQualificationsWhat you'll bring:A preferred ACII qualification or working towards the ACIIA proven track record in Insurance Broking or Underwriting is essentialA good knowledge of the insurance market in order to address client and technical issuesGood communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsExcellent technical skillsGood presentation abilitiesAbility to assimilate and apply large volumes of information rapidlyNegotiation skills coupled with the ability to be flexible and innovativeAble to prioritise, manage deadlines and work under pressureComfortable explaining complex concepts and making recommendations to clients/client servicing teamsMust be able to forge links between broking and client servicing teamsAbility to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues and underwritersMust be prepared to work with integrity and openness, complying at all times with FCA requirementsGood IT skills with excellent Excel usage capabilityWhat we offerEnjoy a benefits package designed to help you thrive, both professionally and personally.
