Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading iron foundry to recruit a Dimensional Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established and highly reputable manufacturer that produces castings predominantly for the automotive industry, as well as the rail and renewable energy sectors. You will oversee a small team responsible for the measurement function and play a key role in dimensional inspection, analysis, and customer liaison.

As the Dimensional Engineer you will be: Operating 3D structured light scanning equipment (GOM ATOS Q and ZEISS T SCAN HAWK 2) Analysing scan data and creating measurement projects using GOM/ZEISS Inspect software Completing ISIR packages to support production and new product introduction Designing gauges and overseeing their implementation Calibrating internal gauges and maintaining accurate records Acting as the main point of contact for any dimensional queries from customers and suppliers Troubleshooting issues with production components using a variety of inspection tools including 3DSL systems and CMM machines To be considered for the Dimensional Engineer role you will need: Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience with dimensional analysis software (ZEISS/GOM) or similar
