Are you committed to advancing digital transformation, training, and testing within healthcare? We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Digital Transformation Testing and Training Operational Team Manager to join our progressive and forward-thinking team. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and enhancing service delivery through the development and implementation of effective training and testing initiatives.

Applicants should have a strong understanding of NHS practices and demonstrate the ability to identify and implement innovative technological solutions that support improved service outcomes and patient care. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing the training & testing of IT and clinical systems, including Rio, OxCare, eObs, eMeds, as well as emerging technologies such as RPA, AI, and voice-to-text solutions. You will provide line management/leadership for the Band 6 Digital Systems Trainers and eLearning Developers, supporting a broad range of professional groups including clinicians, nurses, and administrative teams.

Working closely with the Digital Operational Programme Lead, you will contribute to system redesign, process optimisation, and the successful delivery of training and testing.

1. Develop Trust services through effective leadership and management skills, linking clinical work to the effective use of clinical information systems.
2. Have line management responsibility for Band 6 testing and training personnel.
3. Develop testing strategies for various projects and produce quality test products, such as strategy reports, test plans, test cases, and test scripts, working with key stakeholders, assurance functions, and suppliers to understand system processes, ensure accuracy of test products, and plan, prepare, and coordinate testing.
4. Manage/create process design documents, providing training outlines, storyboards, extracts, and demonstrations.
5. Work closely with clinical and managerial staff to enhance their understanding of, and compliance with, digital systems.
6. Promote the use of digital systems to realise their full potential in supporting clinical and business outcomes.
7. Act as a specialist consultant to senior managers, managers, and clinicians on the best usage of digital systems.
8. Support clinical quality and audit, promoting best practice development and maintenance throughout the Trust.
9. Contribute to the development of the clinical governance and quality agenda across the Trust.
10. Represent the views and experiences of Trust clinicians at a pan-London level.
