Digital Press Field Service Engineer UK Field-Based (Southwest Region - Home-Based within 20 miles of Exeter) We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Press Field Service Engineer to join a growing technical service team. This is a field-based role, primarily covering the Southwest of the UK, with occasional national and European travel, including training opportunities abroad. The Role In this role, you will be responsible for supporting customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced digital press systems. You will play a key part in ensuring equipment uptime and delivering a high standard of technical service. Working with complex electro-mechanical systems, you'll need to quickly diagnose faults and provide effective solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations. Key Responsibilities Respond to service requests following remote diagnostics, resolving issues promptly Install, configure, maintain, and repair digital press equipment Deliver a professional, proactive, and customer-focused service at all times Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults efficiently Maintain clear communication with internal teams and stakeholders Support customers across different UK regions when required Attend and successfully complete product and technical training Ensure all service calls are properly documented and closed in line with procedures Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and on time Follow all health and safety regulations and safe working practices Demonstrate responsible and professional driving behaviour About You Proven experience in a field service engineering role (minimum 3 years preferred) Strong background in both mechanical and electronic systems Experience working with complex electro-mechanical equipment Excellent troubleshooting skills, ideally to component level Good understanding of electrical systems, including 3-phase power Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams Understanding of colour theory (desirable) xehkeey Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels Proactive, team-oriented, and customer-focused mindset Flexible approach to travel and working locations Full UK driving licence Qualifications GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English (desirable) Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, or HNC (preferred) What We Offer Opportunity to work with advanced and innovative technology Ongoing training and development, including international training opportunities A varied and dynamic working environment The chance to be part of a supportive and professional engineering team
