What You’ll Be Doing

This role offers an exciting chance to lead as the Tagging and Tracking Product Lead within the Marketing Technology team. You’ll collaborate on a transformational initiative for a gaming client aligning their brands and tech stack. As Product Lead, you’ll oversee the full programme—working closely with Digital Analytics Leads, Analysts, Developers, and client stakeholders such as Architects, Data Engineers, Product Owners, the Head of MarTech, and the Chief Data Officer.

Though this is not a hands-on tools role, it's essential that you have substantial knowledge of the tools below and experience overseeing similar programmes. You’ll provide technical leadership, guiding team members through complex implementations and edge cases.

Key Responsibilities & Required Experience:

  • Lead enterprise-wide analytics and tag management implementations.
  • Deep knowledge of tools including GA4; TealiumiQ, Tealium ES/AS; AppsFlyer; ContentSquare; and media platforms like Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, and Google Stack.
  • Manage cross-functional teams (architects, developers, end users) during implementation and adoption of new analytics setups.
  • Own creation, maintenance, and documentation of technical specifications across all levels.
  • Balance detailed solution design with broader project vision and requirements.
  • Break complex analytics implementations into prioritized, Agile phases.
  • Understand attribution and tracking for paid media funnels.
  • Supervise end-to-end testing—using DevTools network requests, Console checks, and methods like breakpoints.
  • Lead quality assurance throughout development and deployment—conducting manual and automated tests, identifying and resolving bugs pre-deployment.
  • Anticipate and mitigate technical risks throughout the project.
  • Provide proactive, regular updates to senior leadership and executives.
  • Track team time allocation and assist in producing burn reports.

Client-Facing Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with client teams to establish stakeholder cooperation and new ways of operating for best-in-class analytics and tracking management.
  • Lead workshops and meetings: discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, and use case or solution design workshops.
  • Identify and scope additional project opportunities.
  • Ensure timely acknowledgment and handling of support requests.

Analytical & Technical Expertise:

  • Experience as a Product Lead, overseeing or supporting implementations of TealiumiQ, Tealium ES/AS, and GA4.
  • Track record in agencies, consulting, or tech firms.
  • Hands-on experience delivering projects on-site and collaborating closely with client teams.
  • Strong listening and critical questioning skills to fully understand and refine client requirements.
  • Pragmatic implementation mindset—delivering solutions that meet needs without excessive custom development.
  • Experienced in audits, measurement frameworks, user guides, and best practices to ensure cross-market and cross-brand consistency.
  • Detail-oriented, committed to QA, and adept at identifying potential defects pre-release.
  • Capable of serving as the final technical escalation point for tracking issues.
  • Ideally familiar with AppsFlyer and ContentSquare for support, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Able to craft both tactical and strategic solutions to address immediate gaps and future-proof client implementations.

Collaborative & Communicative:

  • Energetic, positive, and collaborative.
  • Strong problem-solver with logical thinking and proactive/reactive communication.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Effective presenter—able to explain technical solutions clearly to clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple projects.
