Salary: $23-$28/Hour

Our Berks County area client is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, trailers, tractors, and light-duty vehicles. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and experience with standard shop tools and equipment.

Diesel Mechanic

Pay: $23.00-$28/hour

Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, 401(k), and more!

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, Could work up to 10 hour days

Location: Berks County, PA

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel engines Service exhaust, transmission, and drivetrain systems Repair cooling, fuel injection, and electrical systems Perform preventive maintenance (P.M.) and LOF services Inspect and repair wheels, tires, brakes, shocks, and suspension components Perform road service when needed Repair body damage and related components Service pumping systems and fuel hoses Use diagnostic tools to test and evaluate vehicle systems Complete quality inspections before returning vehicles to customers

Qualifications:

Previous mechanic experience (fleet maintenance ) Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of shop equipment and safe operation Valid driver's license (must meet motor vehicle policy) Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain
