Our client, a reputable independent family-run garage specialising in BMW and MINI vehicles, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their highly regarded workshop in Southampton.

Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance with accuracy Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently using diagnostic equipment Perform complex repairs, including timing belt replacements and systems diagnostics Use BMW ISTA diagnostics systems and Autologic tools effectively Carry out vehicle inspections and test drives to assess performance Complete service documentation accurately and comprehensively as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Adhere to health and safety standards and company procedures Provide excellent customer service with a professional approachRequirements:
Minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ level 3, or equivalent experience Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, ideally with BMW ISTA knowledge Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence and own comprehensive toolkit Knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including hybrid/electric technology (training provided) Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability Effective communication skillsIf you are an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician seeking a position within a highly regarded, growth-focused workshop, we would like to hear from you.
