Benefits: Band 6 - pay scales start at £19.10 (can be reviewed depending on experince) Shift Premiums available Enhanced holiday package - up to 39 days per year On-site parking available Full funded online e-learning and face to face training Two uniforms provided free of charge Free occupational health checks Employee Assistance Programme with access to counselling, financial planning and other great benefits Access to high street, retail and leisure discounts Refer a friend scheme (uncapped) Requirements Degree/diploma in Radiography or equivalent is essential 3 years post-qualification experience Min 1 year experience in Nuclear Medicine All candidates must be registered with HCPC Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review Ability to build rapport Strong communication and interpersonal skills Effective time management and prioritisation skills Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work Responsibilities: Perform and assist in a broad range of work activities associated with the use of radioactive substances in the investigation and treatment of patients The performance of radionuclide imaging and organ uptake measurements (including non-routine and complex investigations), and the quantitative analysis of image data Preparation of data for clinical reporting The performance of in-vitro studies including GFR tests and the quantitative analysis of the data Be familiar with, and adhere to, the SOR and HPC codes of professional conduct Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of radiography specifically within nuclear medicine Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency Support the service's leadership team as required Apply today or give us a call for a more detailed chat about your future careers within HSCNI!
