Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a DevOps Engineer with UKIC DV clearance for a contract role. This position involves automating the maintenance and testing of a new capability to support a wider range of unsupported Android handsets. You'll be working closely with 1-2 other engineers to lay the groundwork for the necessary tooling to extend this capability to other chipsets.

Key Responsibilities:

Automating maintenance and testing procedures for new capabilities. Collaborating with engineers to extend support to a broader list of Android handsets. Developing tools to expand capabilities to different chipsets. Utilising DevOps practices to ensure efficient workflow and integration. Implementing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins. Programming in Python and developing with the Flask framework. Containerising applications using Docker. Adhering to cybersecurity best practices throughout the development process.

Job Requirements:
