Job Description

As a Development Support Engineer, you will be essential for the successful operation and maintenance of our RIAK platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for Business-critical systems.

Join our dedicated RIAK team as a Development Support Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our global-scale, Business-critical production system. In this position, you will collaborate with a talented group of professionals, leveraging collective experience, industry best practices, and bespoke services to effectively administer and operate our production platforms.

Our team is composed of delivery-focused, diligent, and resilient experts in distributed systems, all committed to maintaining the highest standards of service. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the success of our open-source RIAK datastore. Qualifications

Demonstrable experience with Linux and Unix, including Bash, AWK, SED and grep.

Knowledge and experience of GNU utilities.

Ability to make and act on decisions under pressure.

Experience with distributed systems.

Strong understanding of networking, including host and preferably media layers.

Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to communicate concisely, both verbally and written.
