Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Development Engineer to join our aerospace team and support key qualification and development testing activities.\n\n In this role, you'll work closely with internal teams to develop customer requirements into test definitions and formal Qualification Test Procedures, and deliver clear, actionable results that support programme success.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\nWorking with internal teams to develop customer requirements into test definitions and formal Qualification Test Procedures.\nProficient user of general MS Office applications.\nGeneration of test equipment definitions to support Qualification Test activities.\nSetting up tests and mounting units in test rigs.\nPerforming Qualification testing where required, monitoring and recording appropriate data throughout.\nSupporting and issue of Qualification/Development documentation.\nParticipation in meetings and workshops internally for purpose of liaising with internal team on task allocation, communicating customer requirements, communication of project test status against plan and findings, output or help needed on project test issues.\n\nPerforming Function/Acceptance tests of Development units.\nAdherence to mandated EH&S policies.\nMaintain good housekeeping standards. Skills & Experience\n\nAbility to understand, evaluate, and interpret complex test data.\nUse of Diadem desired.\nLogical approach to solving problems\nAbility to deliver and present results through clear written and oral communication.\nA proactive, logical approach to engineering challenges \n\nFor purpose of liaising with internal team on task allocation, communicating customer requirements, communication of project test status against plan and findings, output or help needed on project test issues.NB- This role is inside IR35
