Key Responsibilities As a DT Teacher (Food Technology Specialist), you will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Supporting in the planning and delivery of other subjects under the DT umbrella as required.

Developing creative and practical schemes of work in line with the national curriculum

Ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organised food technology classroom and preparation areas

*

Teaching students practical cooking skills, food hygiene and nutrition

*

Assessing, marking and tracking student progress effectively

*

Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students

*

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management

*

Contributing to the wider life of the school through meetings, CPD and extra-curricular activities...
