We are seeking a Design Manager to lead this companys design and R&D function. This role will take ownership of the design department, ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant and cost-effective mechanical solutions while driving design strategy, team development, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and develop the design engineering team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard Oversee the design of packaging machinery, automation equipment, jigs and fixtures from concept through to commissioning Ensure designs meet performance, cost, safety, and regulatory requirements Manage departmental processes, CAD systems, and design standards Collaborate cross functionally to define specifications and support overall project delivery What Were Looking For:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, with experience at management level Strong experience using SolidWorks, including exposure to PDM systems Experience managing xehkeey a mechanical design team within machinery, automation or capital equipment environments Strong background in mechanical design, ideally with hands-on design engineer experience Understanding of regulatory requirements and machinery safety standards If this sounds like you and you would thrive in a leadership role within a fast-pacedengineering environment, we would love to hear from you.
