I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client an experienced Design Manager in the Coventry area. We are currently working with a Leading Main Contractor, looking to hire a Design Manager for new project in the Coventry area
Position: Design Manager
The role is site based
Start date: Asap
* Salary Range £55 -£62K This will be based on experience this will be based on experience
* Benefits & Projects: retail, industrial, High-rise residential & mixed-use developments

What We’re Looking For:
* Expertise in Design Management
* The ideal candidate will have retail /industrial experience
* Main Contractor experience is required

Responsibilities:
· Manage and coordinate design across major projects at various stages
Manage the projects
Maintaining records
Liaising with clients
· Ensure compliance with Building Safety Regulations and Gateway requirements
· Work closely with planning, commercial, and site teams to integrate design effectively
· Liaise with external consultants, architects, and technical stakeholders
· Identify design risks, provide technical solutions, and support value engineering exercises
· Contribute to the development of internal design processes and mentor junior team members
