About the Role
We are working with a leading main contractor to appoint an experienced Design Manager to join their Central London team, supporting the delivery of complex, high-profile projects across fit-out, refurbishment, and structural (cut & carve) schemes. This is a key role within an established growing business, offering the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects with a strong emphasis on quality, detail, and client engagement.   Project Scope
CAT A & CAT B fit-out Refurbishment and cut & carve projects Civils and structural elements within central London schemes Fast-paced, detail-driven environments with high client expectations Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the full design process across multiple project phases Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure design deliverables align with programme requirements Review and challenge design information to ensure buildability, cost efficiency, and compliance Lead design meetings and maintain strong client engagement Work closely with commercial and construction teams to mitigate risk and resolve design issues proactively Ensure all design information is issued, tracked, and delivered in line with programme Candidate Requirements
