The company focuses on Commercial projects across the Home Counties.\n\nStrong pipeline of work secured for the foreseeable future they are expanding their team. Looking for a strong candidate from the Design background, Design Manager / Coordinator, from construction, preferably from commercial design.\n\nThe role:\n\n * Coordinate design intent with internal teams, architects, and subcontractors\n\n * Review drawings for accuracy, buildability, and spec compliance\n\n * Manage drawing revisions, approvals, and document control\n\n * Resolve technical challenges during design development\n\n * Attend client/site meetings to ensure alignment between vision and execution\n\n * Support procurement with accurate material/specification info\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Interpret client requirements and output specs\n\n * Review and ensure compliance of design, procurement, and construction information\n\n * Assist in developing design packages and procurement strategies in collaboration with the Site Manager/Preconstruction team\n\n * Contribute to the Design Management Plan (DMP) and project documentation\n\n * Prepare monthly activity reports for Design Management\n\nQualifications & Skills:\n\n * Relevant qualifications in design, architectural\n\n * Experienced Design Manager / Coordinator in construction\n\n * Knowledge of the regulatory environment and the Design & Build process\n\n * Proficient with related software’s\n\n * Ability to draft correspondence effectively
