We're looking for a Design Manager to join our Eastern South Construction team working on a large £100m plus defence project in Suffolk \n Location : Essex office, Suffolk site \n \n What will you be responsible for? \n As a Design Manager, you'll be working within the Eastern South team in Witham, Essex on a large defence project - The site location is Suffolk \n \n Manage the design process during the pre-construction and as required, the construction phase. \n Interrogation of enquiry documents, in the form of an Employer's Requirements. \n Production of a Contractor's Proposal document in liaison with other internal departments. \n Manage our design process via external consultants. \n Drive innovative and cost effective solutions into the design. \n Progress design issues within a strict timescale & ensure designers meet information delivery dates. \n Attend tender launch /tender adjudication and launch meetings as required. \n \n \n What are we looking for? \n This role of Design Manager is great for you if you have: \n \n Experience of delivering high value, complex design work from the main contractor perspective \n Ability to organise, plan, programme and manage workloads \n Understanding of Building Regulation...
