We are recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised, award-winning contractor known for delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK. This Cardiff-based scheme will span an initial 3 years, with multiple phases to follow – making it a long-term, career-defining opportunity.
The Role: As Design Manager, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating all design-related activities on this flagship development. You will be working closely with project and commercial teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery in line with quality, budget, and time expectations.
Key Responsibilities: ·Manage the design process during the pre-construction and construction phases ·Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams ·Drive innovation and value engineering where appropriate ·Ensure designs meet technical and commercial project requirements ·Monitor design deliverables to programme milestones
