Position Summary: Reporting to the Framework Design Manager, you’ll play a key role in the design delivery of non-infrastructure wastewater projects. This hybrid role offers a mix of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.

You’ll bring proven experience from the water sector—mechanical, electrical, ICA, or civils—within maintenance, design, or capital delivery. You're a motivated team player who thrives on solving complex problems through collaborative working and carbon-conscious design thinking.

Your expertise in design control, quality assurance, BIM (ISO 19650), and NEC4 contracts will be vital to delivering low-carbon, production-led solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and manage the design scope and deliverables. Review and challenge the design programme for efficiencies. Lead and coordinate design meetings (briefings, progress, and coordination). Manage design changes and control processes. Champion DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) and low-carbon solutions. Run buildability, carbon, and DfMA workshops. Oversee design reviews, technical assurance, and CDM compliance. Implement and manage project BIM strategy. Support the Principal Designer on the framework.
