Calling all DESIGN MANAGERS!!!\n\nBuild Space is on the hunt for an experienced Design Manager to help support onward growth at one of the UK's hottest Construction Main Contractors.\n\nWorking on a wide range of projects - Industrial & Logistics, Sports & Leisure, Student Accommodation, Care Homes, Mixed Use - this is an outstanfing opportunity for a bright, driven Design Manager looking to really accelerate their career.\n\n- Are you a Design Manager who loves to interrogate and challenge drawings to achieve the best design solutions?\n- Have you been Design Lead on projects ranging from £10m - £40m before?\n- Want to join an elite team and company that is on a journey to the top?\n\nIf so, Build Space has the perfect role for you!!!\n\nDesign Manager roles & responsibilities:\n\n- Leading design delivery from precon stage through to handover.\n- Collaborating with the Client, their Consultants and your Project Team to agree the most practical and efficient design solution.\n- Supervising Design Team Consultants and Supply Chain Partners to ensure consistent quality and compliance with project programmes.\n- Managing design development, risks and opportunities at all times.\n- Working with Design Coordinator and Document Controller to ensure all information is bang up to date at all times.\n\nDesign Manager experience required:\n\n- Minimum 10 years Design Manager experience.\n- Excellent design discipline.\n- Degree educated or similar.\n- "a Shepherd, not a Sheep!" - owning the design from Day 1.\n- First class technical skills.\n\nIt is a banger!
