Job Title: Draughtsman/Design Engineer

Location: Redhill

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a Draughtsman to join a global client. In this role you will be responsible for producing electrical and mechanical drawings

Role Responsibilities – Draughtsman/Design Engineer

• Develop design concepts from first principles.

An ideal candidate for the Draughtsman/Design Engineer role would have:

• Completed apprenticeship, HND/HNC or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in electrical design is desirable.
• Experience in electrical engineering environment for electrical installations (17th/18th edition)
• Familiar with drawing standards (BS8888 2017)
• Familiar with technical standards for both EMC and LVD
• Knowledge of electrical enclosure manufacturing technique
• Ability to produce high quality drawings (2D and 3D) using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SEE, ETAP
• Production of STEP files for transfer to customers/clients when required.
• Must be able to achieve SC Clearance
