Structural Steel Design Engineer\n\nJN Technical is recruiting an experienced Structural Steel Design Engineer for a steelwork contractor delivering complex projects across the UK.\n\nRole:\n\n * \n\n Structural steel design using industry software\n\n * \n\n Apply loadings, calculate stresses and load paths\n\n * \n\n Interpret drawings and specifications\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with UK standards and H&S\n\n * \n\n Liaise with clients and project teams\n\n * \n\n Support tenders and provide progress updates\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Extensive UK steelwork industry experience\n\n * \n\n Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n Strong structural mechanics and design calculation skills\n\n * \n\n Software experience: Tekla Structural Designer (Fastrak), Fastrak Portal Frame, MasterFrame / STAAD Pro, MasterSeries Connections\n\nBenefits:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary\n\n * \n\n Private healthcare\n\n * \n\n Pension\n\n * \n\n Work on complex steel structures\n\nExcellent opportunity with a leading UK contractor
