Are you a self-motivated engineer who enjoys technical challenges and working in a fast-paced environment? This is an excellent opportunity for a Lighting Design Engineer II to contribute to the design and development of advanced automotive lighting systems from concept through production.

Our U.S. operations support lighting and mold design, tooling, production engineering, and manufacturing, with cross-functional teams spanning Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service. What You Will Be Doing
You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering robust and compliant lighting designs, including:
Executing design and development of exterior automotive lighting products from concept through production
Conducting feasibility studies to ensure regulatory and technical requirements are met
Performing and participating in DFMEA, DRBFM, and FTA design reviews
Identifying, investigating, and resolving design and performance issues
Researching and developing new technologies applicable to product design
Creating 2D and 3D component and assembly drawings and bills of material
Validating designs through mock-ups, tooling trials, and testing
Ensuring design compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 requirements

How You Will Qualify
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education and experience
3–5 years of CAD experience using CATIA V5 or V6
Familiarity with FMVSS 108 and global automotive lighting regulations
Understanding of electrical circuits and LED operation
Experience in automotive product design
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience
2–5 years of experience with plastic injection molding
Experience using ANSYS SPEOS, LucidShape CAA V5, and Moldex3D
