£120,000 – £140,000+ (DOE)
Eclectic Recruitment is working with a top-tier international law firm to recruit a Derivatives & Structured Products Associate to join their busy Debt Capital Markets team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong lawyer looking to develop their career within a market-leading practice.
The Role
You will work as part of a high-performing team advising clients on a broad range of derivatives and structured products matters, including:
- Establishing and updating on- and off-balance sheet structured products programmes
- Securitised and OTC derivatives
- Hedging arrangements as part of structured finance transactions
- Structured repo and securities lending arrangements
- Repackagings
- Regulatory advice connected to the above
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to complex, high-value transactions with both UK and international clients.
Candidate Specification
- Qualified solicitor with 1–3 years post-qualification experience (or equivalent)
- Experience gained at a top-tier law firm is essential
- Strong academic background with excellent written communication and drafting skills
- Outstanding technical expertise in derivatives, structured products and related finance law
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client and team relationships
- Commercial awareness and understanding of clients’ business drivers
- Motivated, reliable, flexible, and able to perform effectively under pressure
- Strong project management, organisational skills, and attention to detail

Working Hours & Benefits
- Standard hours: 35 hours per week, 9:30am – 5:30pm (additional hours as required)
