Deputy Service Owner - 12 Month FTC (Office locations in Cambridge, Leeds & London)

Join TieTalent as a Deputy Service Owner for a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting the Generation Study at Genomics England.

About Genomics England: We partner with the NHS to provide genome sequencing diagnostics, aiming to improve diagnosis, treatment, and research in genomics.

Role Overview: You will work closely with the Service Owner and Tribe Leader to oversee daily operations, ensure service relevance, and facilitate smooth delivery of the Generation Study, which focuses on diagnosing and treating rare conditions through genome sequencing.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting and executing operational processes to deliver the service effectively.
2. Providing visibility to Service Owner and Tribe Leader on service health and issues.
3. Identifying dependencies and blockers, collaborating with teams to resolve issues.
4. Working with Programme Manager to track risks and mitigations.
5. Analyzing data to identify trends and improvements.
6. Embedding SOPs and quality processes into BAU.
7. Managing stakeholder relationships and prioritization requests.
8. Supporting meetings, logistics, and documentation.

Skills & Experience: Proven stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, strategic resource allocation, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. Relevant experience in product ownership, project management, or related fields is preferred but real-world experience is valued more.
