Education People has recently partnered with a fast-growing nursery in Bristol to support the recruitment of an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager / SENCO.

This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring leader who is passionate about high-quality childcare, supporting children with additional needs, and helping to build a positive and collaborative team culture within a growing nursery setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the nursery, supporting the day-to-day management of the setting while working closely with the leadership team.

You will bring strong knowledge of SEN processes and procedures, alongside excellent organisational and documentation skills. This position would suit someone with Deputy Manager or Room Leader experience who is confident leading a team and supporting staff development.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the day-to-day leadership and management of the nursery

* Act as the SENCO, ensuring appropriate processes, documentation, and support for children with additional needs

* Provide managerial support and cover for the Safeguarding Lead when required
