Salary – £40,000

40 hours\nper week

Rated Good\nby Ofsted (May 2018), Poppies Holmer Green has been providing high-quality\nchildcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years since 2015.

Key\nResponsibilities:

  • Understand and ensure that the\n requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout\n the nursery.
  • Ensure that company policies and\n procedures are embedded, applied, and adhered to by all.
  • Facilitate inspections by\n regulatory bodies and implement any recommendations.
  • Embed effective key person\n approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify\n training or development needs for staff.
  • Ensure that all children receive\n stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources which\n are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Promote a culture of\n self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery.
  • Manage any complaints or\n concerns raised in a thorough and timely manner and inform senior\n management.
  • Maintain accurate records and\n accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file.
  • Participate in all activities\n related to nursery publications, advertising, public relations, the web\n site, and other marketing activities designed to promote the nursery.
  • Promote positive relations with\n an approachable manner and time to listen to your team.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Full and relevant\n Level 3 Childcare qualification 
  • Essential: Over 1 year\n experience in Early Years 
  • Essential: Strong knowledge\n of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements 
  • Essential: Over 1 year of\n management experience 
  • Desirable: Level 5 qualification\n in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership 
  • Desirable: Experience of\n successfully passing an Ofsted inspection at a Good or Outstanding level
