Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire, Yorkshire, UKOur client is looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to work closely and be supporting by the Nursery Manager.The duties will of the Deputy Nursery Manager will involve:To support and deputise for the Nursery Manager as and when requiredAssisting with staff development and trainingAttending regular staff meetings and assisting with nursery events outside core hoursAssisting the manager in showing parents/carers around the setting's facilities and sending out informationLiaising with parents/carers, other family members and staff to help ensure that the particular needs of children are met, and that parental choice is considered in terms of care given.Supporting staff in the roll out of the new EYFS frameworkReporting any concerns to the Nursery ManagerCreating fun learning environments both indoors and outdoorsAssisting the nursery manager with the efficient upkeep of the building and maintenance/stock of equipment, furnishings and fittingsEnsuring safeguarding is core to all our activitiesTo undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined from time to time by the nursery managerThe ideal Deputy Nursery Manager will need to be/have:Experience working in a similar roleFull & Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3+)Knowledgeablein areas relating toEYFSGreat communicationskillsA team player with the ability to beflexibleto the needs of the children and the team, with experience of leading a teamFull time permanent opportunity - APPLY today for more information on this role (40 hours a week) TPBN1_UKTJ
