Silver Trees Care Home is seeking a Nurse-qualified- Deputy Manager (RGN) to support the day-to-day leadership and clinical governance of our home.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to combine clinical practice with supernumerary management time in a supportive, quality-focused environment.
Silver Tree Care Home is situated in Nailsea, North Somerset.
**We are looking to hire for FT contracted hours of 36.25 hrs/week.**
Role structure: - 1 clinical shift (12.25 hours) - 3 supernumerary leadership days
Responsibilities: - To manage all aspects of the home in the absence of the Home Manager. - To maintain excellent care and health & safety standards. - To support the maintenance of a positive reputation for the Home in the local community. - To support the attainment of budgeted financial performance; maximising fee levels and exercising sound cost management across the Home. - To help build and maintain a well-motivated and engaged workforce. - To perform direct nursing duties on a basis agreed with the Home Manager in accordance with contractual arrangements.
Qualifications and Skills: Essential: - Active NMC PIN (RGN) - Care home experience - Strong knowledge of CQC regulations - Supervisory or management experience - Values-led, visible, and supportive leadership style
