Deputy Manager (Non-Clinical) Residential Care Home
Location: High Peak
Salary: £14.41 per hour
Contract: Full Time (40 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a well-established residential care home in the High Peak, supporting up to 36 residents with residential, respite, and dementia care needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior or Deputy looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive and growing organisation.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting the Home Manager and ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered.

You will lead and inspire the care team, support compliance, and step into the Home Manager role when required.

Weekend working and participation in the on-call rota are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager with the overall operation of the service
  • Lead, mentor and develop the staff team
  • Oversee medication administration and auditing
  • Ensure high standards of care and compliance are maintained
  • Step into the Home Manager role when required
  • Promote a positive and supportive working culture
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (essential)
  • Experience in a leadership role within a care home setting
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration and auditing
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Confident in deputising for the Home Manager
  • Flexible to work weekends and participate in on-call duties
