Deputy Manager (Non-Clinical) Location: Smethwick, West Midlands Job type: Permanent Pay rate: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour

My client is recruiting a strong, experienced Non-Clinical Deputy Manager to join their established management team.

This is a privately owned, family-run nursing home with over 40 beds, providing care for older people, including dementia care, physical disability care and respite care. The home benefits from the support and vision of a larger organisation and is currently undergoing a significant investment programme on site.

The successful candidate will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and staff management.

Key responsibilities: • Supporting the Registered Manager with daily operations • Staff supervision, support, and rota management • Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and internal policies • Maintaining a safe, person-centred care environment • Supporting quality improvement and inspection readiness

Candidate requirements: • Previous experience as a Team Leader or Deputy Manager is highly desirable • Background in health and social care • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills • Confident managing staff teams and supporting service delivery • Non-clinical background considered
