Person Power is proud to be working with a Children's Residential home based in Clacton who are seeking a committed and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership and running of their home.

You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts and provide supervision to workers
  • Support the Registered Manager in the overall management of the home
  • Promote a safe, nurturing environment for the young people
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Home Regulations and quality standards
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and behaviour support strategies
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
  • Minimum 3years experience in a childrens residential care setting
  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
  • Full UK Driving License and Full Right to Work
  • Passionate, resilient and child-focused approach
