Are you a passionate Children's Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your career? Personpower is proud to be working with a well-established and highly regarded Children's Residential provider based in Colchester for young people aged between 8 - 17 with emotional and behavioral needs. The Role As the Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home. You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding are maintained. This is a hands-on role combining leadership responsibilities with direct care. Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager in ensuring the home meets Ofsted regulations and achieves "good" or "outstanding" ratings. Lead shifts and supervise a team of Support Workers. Support in rota planning, staff development and mentoring. Manage and oversee care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
