Introduction Time to move your career forward by joining the team at Lichfield House as Deputy Home Manager and help people with a learning disability and/or autism to build a brighter future. What you will be doing You will support the Home Manager to lead the team in providing high‑quality care and support to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism, while promoting good teamwork. As Deputy Home Manager you will empower individuals, deliver supervision to staff, help coordinate on‑call service, manage budgets and act as a role model, creating a positive learning environment and changing lives for the better.
Support the Registered Manager to prepare for contract reviews and represent the organisation in respect of service delivery. Support the Registered Manager to create, maintain and enhance productive working relationships within the home. Ensure the appropriate number and skill mix of staff on duty at any given time, subject to company protocol and the needs of the service users. Plan, implement and monitor the Person‑Centred Approach to care within the home.
Working 37.5 hours per week, mainly weekdays 9 am to 4:30 pm, with some flexibility across 7 days as required by the service. Things that you will have
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards. Excellent track record in a senior role within the healthcare sector. Understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy and sensory processing issues. Passion for improving clinical quality and care. Strong leadership skills.
