Nurture Education is working in partnership with a dynamic and ambitious primary school in Brent to recruit an experienced and driven Deputy Headteacher.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a current or aspiring Deputy Headteacher who is ready to step into a key leadership role within a challenging yet rewarding school environment.

About the Role

The successful Deputy Headteacher will play a central role in leading teaching and learning, driving standards, and supporting staff development across the school. This Deputy Headteacher position requires a strong leader who can take initiative, manage behaviour effectively, and contribute to whole-school improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership of the school

* Lead on teaching and learning, ensuring high standards across all year groups

* Drive behaviour management strategies and maintain a positive school culture

* Deliver training and professional development for teachers and staff

* Use initiative to identify areas for improvement and implement change

* Support staff performance and contribute to a strong leadership team

* Work closely with SLT to raise attainment and outcomes

What We’re Looking For

* Essential: Current or previous leadership experience at Assistant Head level (or above)

* Proven experience as a strong Deputy Headteacher or aspiring senior leader

* Excellent behaviour management and ability to lead in a challenging environment

* Experience delivering staff training and development

* Proactive, resilient, and able to take initiative

* Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a leadership team
