Position Overview Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust serves the communities of Hackney, East London, The City and beyond. Responsibilities Supporting the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, the post holder will lead and manage operational aspects of the team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day function and proactive problem‑solving. The post holder will engage with key stakeholders across the Trust and the wider NEL Integrated Care System (ICS/ICB), ensuring commercial processes, resources and systems are fit for purpose. In collaboration with the wider team the post holder will design and implement processes to support Homerton’s procurement and supply‑chain functions, including the contract register, structured savings plan, procurement work‑plan and standardisation plan. The post holder will work in a positive, inclusive and professional manner, fostering a customer‑focused ethic towards end users and external suppliers, engaging with NEL PP and NEL‑ICS partners to realise efficiencies, support transactional procurement services and deliver ongoing improvements, supplier rationalisation and cash‑releasing savings.
