We're a brand-new, food-led pub set to open early this year in beautiful Ruthin, North Wales. Our mission is to serve fresh, locally sourced, and inventive dishes in a welcoming, vibrant environment. We're looking for a Deputy Head Chef to join our kitchen team and help shape the culinary heart of our new pub. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone creative, ambitious, and passionate about delivering exceptional food in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
What You'll Do:

Support the Head Chef in running a busy kitchen efficiently.
Help develop and deliver a seasonal, innovative menu that excites our guests.
Lead, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff to achieve excellence.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Assist with stock management, ordering, and cost control. What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a leadership role.
Strong culinary skills with creativity and attention to detail.
Excellent team management and communication skills.
