Salary: From £40-£44k DOE + Service + Benefits The Role As Deputy General Manager, you will work in close partnership with the General Manager to oversee the seamless delivery of Food & Beverage, Events, and Accommodation. You will play a central role in maintaining exceptional standards, elevating the guest journey, and leading a professional, hospitality-focused team. This is a highly visible, hands-on role, requiring a calm, confident presence and a genuine passion for luxury service. Responsibilities Support the General Manager in the overall leadership and strategic direction of the business Ensure flawless service delivery across the restaurant, events, and bedrooms Lead, inspire, and develop a polished, guest-focused team Oversee standards of presentation, service consistency, and operational excellence Support financial performance through labour control, cost management, and revenue optimisation Act as a senior host and ambassador, delivering warm, intuitive, and memorable guest experiences Step into full operational responsibility in the absence of the General Manager Requirements Proven experience as a Deputy General Manager, Senior Assistant Manager, or Hotel / Restaurant Manager within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment Strong background in quality restaurant operations and event delivery Naturally service-driven, with a refined, professional, and personable leadership style Commercially astute while uncompromising on quality and guest experience Confident managing both front-of-house excellence and behind-the-scenes operational detail This role will appeal to a hospitality professional who thrives in elegant environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional service across dining, events, and boutique accommodation.
