Role:Deputy FM ManagerLocation:Leicester, LE18 Hours:Monday Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm Salary: £43,302 per annum + Corporate Benefits PackageWe are seeking a proactive and driven Deputy FM Manager to support the delivery of high-quality Facilities Management services within a secure environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance operations across site.You will play a vital part in supporting operational continuity, maintaining statutory compliance, and driving service excellence, helping to create a safe and well managed environment for colleagues and site users.The Role As Deputy FM Manager, you will:Organise and allocate daily maintenance activities in line with safety, compliance, and contractual prioritiesMonitor progress, productivity, and quality across multiple tradesOversee both planned and reactive maintenance using CAFM systems in accordance with SFG20 requirementsEnsure safe systems of work through risk assessments, equipment checks, and adherence to technical specificationsLead, motivate, and support a multi-skilled team in a busy operational environmentManage contractors, ensuring RAMS compliance and high standards of workmanshipAct as Approved Person where qualified (HV/LV electrical, pressure systems, confined spaces, working at height, hot works etc.)Deputise for the Contract Manager when requiredThis is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage workflow effectively in a secure and regulated environment.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and EnglishRecognised qualification as an Approved Electrician (JIB, 17th/18th Edition) or HVAC qualifications (COCN1, ICPN1, TCP1, CDGA1, CIGA1, BMP1) or Fire & Security qualificationStrong experience managing HVAC systems (experience with Trend or Honeywell BMS highly desirable)Qualification in the Control of LegionellaProven experience leading teams and managing workflow, productivity, and qualitySolid technical knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, including fault finding and diagnosticsVetting RequirementsDue to the nature of the environment, an Enhanced DBS check will be required. This includes spent and unspent convictions and relevant police information in line with safeguarding requirements.
