Depot Manager -Oil & LubricantLocation ElginSalary/Package - £35,000 - £40,000Mon to Friday/No weekends, Company Veh/Fuel Card, 30 days holiday including Banks, Wellbeing programme, Life assurance & more.Purpose of the roleThe Depot Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the Elgin depot, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.The primary responsibilities will involve managing and auditing the operational aspects, including delivery routing, stock control, productivity, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and environmental regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesDepot Operations:Oversee all depot activities to ensure smooth and efficient operationsPlan and manage workloads, routes, and schedules to meet service requirementsMonitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and operational targetsEnsure depot facilities, equipment, and vehicles are maintained to required standardsLead, motivate, and manage depot staff, including drivers and operational teamsPromote a positive safety culture and high standards of conductEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and industry regulationsCarry out risk assessments and implement safe systems of workEnsure all staff receive appropriate training, inductions, and toolbox talksMaintain accurate records for audits and inspectionsFleet & Asset ManagementCustomer & Stakeholder ManagementFinancial & Administrative DutiesYou must have or holdProven experience in depot management within fuel sector or pervious management experience (Essential)Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of fleet management systemsDriving Licence*Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required*We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team.If you are interested in this new and exciting opportunity with a growing company, apply with your current CV.
