Worthing - Depot Assistant ManagerLocation: Littlehampton BN16 3HQSalary: up to £30k per annumHoliday: 25 days plus bank holidaysHours of Work: 07:30 to 16:30 Monday to FridayJob Type: Full-time, PermanentMain Purpose of Role:To support the depot manager with the day to day running of the depot including loading / unloading vehicles, general admin into company database & deliveries to customers / site address where applicable.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively manage stock turnaroundEnsure invoicing is completed in a timely fashionBankingProactive management of operations report and T card systemSet up of job filesProcess quotes and orders in line with customer expectationsCross selling and up-selling of product rangeDetermining prices to maximise operating marginsDealing with customers in a polite, positive and professional mannerTechnical support/advice where applicable with support from the Depot ManagerDeputising for the Depot Manager where requiredProvision of professional support to other sites when requiredAssist with deliveries where necessaryAdhere to procedures on goods delivered processUnload goods-in products safely and store in Warehouse efficiently ensuring all goods are correct and to quality standardsProfessionally assist customer on collection of goods.Key Skills and QualificationsAttention to detail and accuracySafe and responsible driver with own licenceGood basic written skillsAbility to learn and developOrganised approachCustomer focusedBasic financial and numeracy skills for checking orders etcManual HandlingBasic product knowledge of core product range e.g bi-fold door v patioBasic IT skills e.g email, excel, data entry.Benefits:Company pensionEmployee discountFree parkingOn-site parkingStore discountLicence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Work Location:In personJBRP1_UKTJ
